WHAT IS AN ECOTYPE?

An Ecotype is a planting framework derived from a specific ecosystem, adapted for contemporary landscape design.

Rather than selecting plants individually, we begin with ecological communities that have evolved together over time.

The result is landscapes that are more resilient, more biodiverse, and more deeply connected to place.
